Apparently the most exclusive dance music festival in France is the French Parade which is the main event and is 100% electronic. This annual Techno Parade turns up the volume and quickens the pace on Paris' streets.
Can you imagine 20 floats carrying 150 musicians - that's amazing!, not to mention the DJs and performers from all over France that turns up to dance their way along the three-mile route which means only one thing 100% pure unadulterated fun! This I definitely will not miss if I live in Paris. I am super envious right now.
This huge event forms part of the Rendez-vous electroniques (Electronic Festival) and attracts 400,000 hardcore partygoers. Top DJs entertain the crowds with their mixing skills and decibel-defying sound systems. This year it is held on September 17 2011, between 12pm - 5pm in Paris. It is completely free so make sure you head down there for some great fun.
